The OEM water-to-oil cooler system used on the Gen V LT1 and LT4 wet sump crate engines (*or any Gen V with a Gen 6 Camaro Oil Pan 2016+) are insufficient for spirited use which leads to overheating. Not to mention the factory oil cooler interferes with most header systems on Pro-touring builds. This kit comes with everything needed to cap off the quick-connect hose barb fitting on your water pump and properly block off/bypass the oil passages used by the factory cooler. It’s recommended to run a remote oil cooler if you're going to be doing any kind of aggressive driving/racing.
